Picosecond Laser for acne scars

The picosecond non-ablative laser operates in the ultrashort picosecond domain. With fractional modes customised to each individual’s condition, this laser stimulates collagen renewal and improves acne marks and scars, with less downtime than traditional ablative lasers. Fractional carbon dioxide laser

This is an ablative skin resurfacing laser used to treat acne scars. By creating multiple small targeted laser puncture holes into the skin, cells from the surrounding normal skin repairs the holes and heals rapidly. New collagen is formed and improvements in scars are seen. Redness may persist up to several weeks, especially after more intense treatments. Over the following weeks and months, the skin repairs the deeper dermal tissues that have been affected by laser, producing longer beneficial changes associated with shallower scars.
